Your Safety When Meeting a Match — Please Read
Kundwa.com helps you meet people, but your safety is your own responsibility. By accepting these Terms, you understand and accept the risks of meeting someone in person, and you agree to protect yourself before and during any meeting:
- Meet only in public, busy places (a café, restaurant, or mall) — never at a home or a private/isolated place for a first meeting.
- Meet during the daytime whenever possible.
- Tell a trusted friend or family member where you are going, who you are meeting, and when you expect to be back — share your live location with them.
- Arrange your own transport so you can leave at any time, and keep your phone charged.
- Never send money or share bank/Mobile Money PINs, codes, or financial details — anyone asking for money is a red flag.
- Take your time to get to know the person through the platform first, and trust your instincts — if anything feels wrong, leave.
- Verify who you are meeting and do not feel pressured into anything you are not comfortable with.
Kundwa.com does not conduct background checks on members and is not responsible for the behaviour of any user offline. You meet other members entirely at your own risk.
1. Acceptance of Terms
By registering on Kundwa.com you confirm that you are at least 18 years old and agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, do not use the platform. Using Kundwa.com means you accept these terms in full.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years of age. By registering you represent that you meet this requirement. We may verify age and may suspend or terminate accounts that do not.
3. Accounts & Registration
You are responsible for keeping your login details secure and for all activity on your account. Provide accurate, current information. One account per person; accounts are non-transferable.
4. Payments & Fees
Registration is a one-time 2,000 RWF activation fee. Unlocking chat costs 500 RWF per day and lets you message anyone on the platform for 24 hours. Unlocking a member's WhatsApp number costs 2,000 RWF per profile. VIP membership is 6,000 RWF per week. Members outside Rwanda (Diaspora) pay the equivalent in USDT crypto, verified manually. All payments are processed via PawaPay (MTN MoMo / Airtel Money) and are final and non-refundable unless stated otherwise. Promotions may be applied at our discretion.
5. Chat & WhatsApp Unlocks
A daily chat unlock lets you chat with everyone on the platform for 24 hours. A WhatsApp unlock reveals one member's WhatsApp number and is permanent for that profile. VIP members receive a number of free WhatsApp unlocks per week as described on the VIP page.
6. VIP Membership
VIP members receive enhanced privileges such as seeing who liked them, expanded chat access, free WhatsApp unlocks, and priority visibility. VIP expires per your subscription. We may adjust VIP benefits with notice.
7. Earnings, Hostesses & Affiliates
Some members may be enabled by Kundwa.com to earn rewards (for example, a commission when other users pay to connect with them, or an affiliate reward when someone registers through their referral link). Earnings are held as an internal balance in your Kundwa wallet. Withdrawals can be requested once your available balance reaches 20,000 RWF and are paid to your Mobile Money number, normally within one (1) business day. All earnings and withdrawals are subject to verification and anti-fraud review; fraudulent or abusive activity may result in forfeiture of balances and account termination.
8. User Conduct
You agree not to: (a) harass, bully, threaten or defraud other users; (b) share explicit, illegal or inappropriate content; (c) impersonate others or create fake profiles; (d) attempt to share phone numbers, WhatsApp or other contact details inside platform chat; (e) solicit money or use the platform for scams; (f) attempt to bypass platform security or payments.
9. Content & Privacy
You keep ownership of what you post and grant Kundwa.com a licence to display it on the platform. We do not sell your personal data. Your phone number and payment information are used only for authentication, payments and payouts.
10. No Contact Sharing in Chat
For your safety, sharing external contact details (phone numbers, WhatsApp, social handles, links) inside platform chat is restricted. This protects users from scams and keeps interactions within the platform's safety tools.
11. Account Termination
We may suspend or terminate accounts that break these Terms, commit fraud, or harm others. Terminated accounts are not refunded for paid services and may forfeit any wallet balance obtained through abuse.
12. Limitation of Liability
Kundwa.com only facilitates connections between users. We do not perform background checks and we are not responsible for the conduct of any user, online or offline, or for the outcome of any relationship, meeting, or transaction arranged through the platform. You use Kundwa.com, and you meet other members, entirely at your own risk.
13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Rwanda, and disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Kigali, Rwanda.
14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms. We will notify users of significant changes.
